Job Description Summary
Support the Director, to lead and manage overall E2E as solution owner from presale to post-sale stages including direct interface with customer to obtain the user requirement, develop the best solution and deliver the DC services for local strategic business opportunities of data centre business with an objective of ensuring an appropriate technical information and designed solution can meet the customer's requirement and support business growth. This position requires extensive work with both internal teams (including sale, product management and operation) and various external stakeholders.
Job Duties
Presales Support:-
- Lead, design, develop and manage the overall solution (including both technical and operational aspect) of strategic deals and/or due diligence activities for both data center and BRC services for the assigned opportunities to customers, partners and prospects.
- Provide technical expertise and credibility to the customers and collecting customer business and technical requirements to formulate and develop the winning solution.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to design and develop the customized solution including solution proposal, technical scoping, procurement formation, costing estimation, pricing strategy and implementation plan as well as establish and define the user acceptance criteria and testing plan with in-house design engineering and project management teams to match business and customer's requirements.
- Provides technical support in sales presentations, customer meetings, including deliver presentation and conduct the DC site tour.
Quality Management:
- Define, develop and maintain update-to-date technical information database of each data center and BRC products and aligning the critical technical figures with Product Owners and Operation team for any change of infrastructure system.
Lead for Customization Provisioning :
- Lead, manage and deliver the customization provisioning to the customer with direct interfacing and coordination with both external customer and all internal stakeholders
Training Support:
- Define and Develop the technical training material to the internal customers (sales, product consultant, product owner.,etc) for any update about DC Development
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- 5-8 years solid experience in building services engineering and at least 3 years in presales role.
- Knowledge of engineering principles, best practices data center product specification and SLA.
- Good communication skills and be able to interact with all levels of internal and external customers.
