Major Duties

The appointee will be required to

- coordinate quality assurance activities, including accreditation, professional recognition and internal reviews;

- implement quality assurance measures for continuous improvement and regulatory compliance;

- prepare reports and a range of documents;

- provide secretariat support to working groups and committees; and

- perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Qualifications Required

Candidates should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above with at least 5 years of relevant experience and preferably have knowledge and experience in academic quality assurance work in higher education sector; (ii) very good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; (iii) good organisation skills, attention to details, and high self-motivation with good communication and interpersonal skills; (iv) ability to work independently with good problem solving and time management skills; and (v) high proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word processing.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, medical benefits, and staff development sponsorship. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term contract for up to two years. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
