Key Accountabilities

-     To produce required financial information to timely and quality standards, and to provide management and supervision of the financial team.

-     Act as the key contact point with Finance Share Service Centre (FSSC) and supervise them on day-to-day operations and in managing the POS sales, Accounts Receivables, Account payables and General ledger.

-     Ensure appropriate controls exist around accounting records and payments taking into account the established segregation of duties across the team.

-     Analyze, support and assist Country Finance Manager on Forecast /Budget process.

-     Monitor and implement the global financial policies and group accounting guidelines, tasks and deadlines.

-     Perform monthly closings.

-     Co-ordinate annual and quarterly audits and tax submission

-     When financial services are rendered by FSSC, liaise and collaborate with the FSSC to ensure an adequate service level in relation with the applicable services in scope within his/her area of responsibility.

-     Responsible for the definition, execution and follow up of the Group accounting policy.

-     Review all General Ledger transactions, reporting processes and procedures and implement performance improvements where appropriate.

-     Supervise monthly Country reporting to Dufry corresponding Competence Centre.

-     Carry out Local statutory financial statements.

-     Ensure appropriateness and accuracy of the intercompany transactions and its corresponding reconciliation.

Requirements:

-    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with more than 5 years international finance experience;

-    Leadership experience;

-      Experience in travel retail, buying or fashion industry is highly preferable;

-      Ability to multi task, work independently, self-motivated personality and strong problem solving capability

-    Pro-Active team player with positive attitude and willing to learn;

-    Good communication skills and command of English;

-    Attention to details; sensible to high-end products is preferred;

-    At ease with SAP system and reporting tools, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Hyperion, OraclePower Pointand other ERP software.
