Job Description

We are seeking a Credit/VMI Analyst III to perform the following job duties at our Hong Kong office:
Responsibilities:
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit to customers and entering into vendor managed inventory (VMI) programs.
- Generate financial ratios to evaluate customer's financial status and preparing reports to show the degree of risk involved in extending credit to customer.
- Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of companies evaluated with those of similar companies in the same industries and geographic locations;
- Evaluate customer records and recommending payments plans, based on earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity;
- Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verifying financial and credit transactions.
- Assist in managing daily treasury operations in the U.S., Europe and Asia to ensure compliance with financial covenants, bank agreements and insurance requirements.
- Analyze proposed and existing VMI and sales programs with customers to estimate costs for pricing.
- Managing all financial reporting for Smith's VMI programs.
- Document company’s financial reporting process and procedures as a foundation for our ERP system.
- Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit to customers.
Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in Finance/Economics/any related disciplines
- With at least 3 years of experience as a credit or financial analyst
- Knowledgeable in using the Glovia ERP system and IBM Cognos.
- Proficiency in MS Office specifically in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
