Company Description

Our client is a sizable private aviation services company. They are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead the finance team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the finance and accounting operations and related matters (such as AR, AP, GL, e-banking etc.)
• Overall responsible for meeting all financial reporting deadlines with accurate financial data
• To establish, monitor and timely review of the Company Approval Matrix and Schedule of Authority, and all other Finance-related policies
• Ensure healthy cash position of the Company for daily operations and future expansion
• Review and arrange for short-term or long-term loan borrowings if required
• Responsible to prepare and review annual budgets accurately and timely
• Comply with all regulations and requirements with regards to health, safety and security set by the Company and relevant authorities while on duty
• Assist in ad hoc projects and company wide events as assigned by the top management

Responsibilities

• Degree holder or above
• Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience and at least 5 years at Managerial level
• ACCA / CPA qualified or equivalent
• Familiar with all aspects of Finance activities and Procurement procedures
• Excellent people management and analytical skills
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to liaise effectively at all levels within the Company and with the regulatory authority
• Keen analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good technical writing and editing skills
• Ability to perform duty under pressure and go extra miles to complete tasks
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), and IT skills
• Strong understanding of aviation environment, procedures and processes would be an advantage
