Job Summary:

The Accounting Assistant will support the Accounting & Reporting Team by handling payments, preparing accounting entries and updating financial statements for the month-end closing.

Directly reporting to the Assistant Accounting Manager, this job position offers a good opportunity to build a career path and develop your skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an accurate and up to date revenue database in our sales platform  
• Perform account payables operations: reconcile vendor invoices, identify discrepancies, and prepare payments
• Prepare monthly journals and month-end closing accounting entries
• Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile inter-company balance
• Prepare month-end schedules
• Participate in external audit process and tax assessment
• Handle clerical, filing and ad hoc assignments as required

• Diploma holder or above in Accounting or related disciplines
• 2 years experience of accounting or audit experiences. Fresh graduates are also welcome
• Computer savvy with proficiency in Excel and MS Word. SAP system experience will be a plus
• Good attitude, willing to learn and take up new challenges
• Meticulous, well-organised and proactive. Capable of working effectively under tight deadlines when required
• Team player, with good communication skills (English and Cantonese)
• Capable of working effectively in a multinational environment and under tight deadlines when required
• Immediately available or short notice is highly preferred
