Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare P&L report on Trading/Banking book
- Perform month-end cycle including journal adjustments and ledger reconciliation
- Provide P&L commentaries to Finance, Treasury and Senior Management on Treasury products
- Perform pricing and valuation control on treasury products
- Participate in the user acceptance testing and perform comprehensive full cycle testing for Treasury Settlement System Project
- Handle ad-hoc tasks such as preparation of regulatory survey and answer queries from external/internal auditors and regulatory bodies
Requirements
- University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- Preferably with recognized professional qualification, e.g. Qualified Accountant
- At least 3-4 years’ experience in financial institutions / audit firms and exposure in Treasury Finance/Product Control/Market Risk is an advantage
- Candidates with more experience would be considered as Assistant Vice President
- A team player with good problem solving and analytical skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
- Conversant with MS Excel with VBA skills, accounting and reporting system in particular Oracle Financials and Cognos.
