Job Description

As part of the executive leadership team, you will be the architect and owner of the people strategy with a particular focus on retention, attraction, culture, the development of the future HK leaders and making Decathlon an obvious choice for students, fresh grads and experts of their field.
The role will directly report to the CEO of Decathlon Hong Kong.
ResponsibilitiesPeople Culture & Strategy:
  • Act as a guardian of the Decathlon Culture, co-write and drive Hong Kong People Project and Strategies as well as manage both internal & external communication about People & Culture
Talent Attraction & Acquisition:

  • Help us become the Best Place to Work in Hong Kong
  • Build and develop Decathlon Hong Kong Employer branding awareness
  • Establish efficient and sustainable partnerships with Business Schools and Universities
Talent Learning, Development, and Retention:
  • Build a pool of strong Decathlonians from HK for the success of our project and for the international Decathlons in the future
  • Ensuring the HR operations are carried out smoothly with high efficiency
  • Redesigning our Onboarding Process as a fantastic jump into the Decathlon Culture - making it highly Innovative, Modern, Omni,  Fun, Professional and sporty
  • Build and develop Decathlon Hong Kong Academy, having to be connected with other countries
  • Facilitate teammates’ and young Leaders' development plan
  • Take lead in enhancing teammates' Long Term Engagement through recognition, career path development, package management, “teammateship” program … 
Must haves
  • Passion for sports
  • At least 10 years of experience in the HR field with at least 5 years of experience leading a full-function HR team and a proven ability to work with senior stakeholders of diverse cultures 
  • Previous experience in sizeable multinational companies would be essential
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a high level of flexibility and prioritisation skills 
  • A Can-do attitude with the passion to nurture and support the teammates of the People & Culture team 
  • Possess a solid track record in the design and delivery of talent acquisition, training and talent development programs from previous positions
  • Detail minded, tactful and result-oriented 
  • Fluency in both Cantonese and English would be essential. Fluency in French and Mandarin would be advantageous.  Nice to have
  • Experience working in fast-paced retail or FMCG environment would be highly preferred
