Job Description
Island ECC is a dynamic English-speaking international church in Hong Kong. Our offices in Quarry Bay and Shum Shui Po provide social service programs to serve the community and people in Hong Kong.
We are seeking a well experienced full-time Director of Facilities & Office Management to oversee the office administration, logistical operations and facility management for the church and services, ministry events, meetings and other event management. Maintaining a state-of-the-art facility, and delivering venue operational excellence for all ministry events, meetings and worship services. This position leads a high-performing team, including caretaking staff, to effectively carry out relevant functional support to all ministries and the church leadership. Also, manage all general and office administration, direct facility renovation, office relocation and facility improvements as well as source vendors for office supplies and facilities, security, health and safety. They serve with other ministry and volunteer teams, assist in the administration and provide support for church events.
The candidate should possess a university degree with 5 years of experience at supervisory level in handling office administration and facility management. This position requires strong administrative and interpersonal skills, strong planning abilities, and broad organizational skills with the ability to flexibly manage multiple tasks and projects. Fluency in English, Cantonese (and Mandarin a plus) as well as an openness to learning and using new technologies. Willing to work with other ministry and volunteers outside normal office hours.
