Job Description

The Arts Ambassadors-in-School Scheme (AAiSS) organised by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council is a large-scale arts education scheme. Since its launch in 2008, AAiSS has amassed an alumni of more than 13,000 ambassadors from primary, secondary and special schools.

We are looking for high-calibre candidate to join the AAiSS team in organising and implementing various types of arts activities for the arts ambassadors.

Duties:

  • Liaise with schools, teachers and arts ambassadors as well as external parties such as artists/ arts groups, production house to ensure the smooth implementation of AAiSS;
  • Provide administrative support to AAiSS;
  • Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of websites;
  • Liaise with vendors and manage online publicity tools such as Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc.;
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder with minimum 2 years relevant working experience, preferably in website (HTML) and database management;
  • Experience in organising projects/ events is preferable;
  • Proficiency in PC operations (MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing) and Graphic Design and Video Taking/Editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere);
  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese. Putonghua will be an advantage;
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and well-organised;
  • Knowledge and interest in the arts will be an advantage.
