Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily settlement operations of Private Banking Business, QDII and custody services
- Carry out all functions of corporate action for bonds, equities and fund investment
- Support all aspect of Issuing and Paying Agency functions in connection with notes issuance, delivery and payment.
- Review relevant Issuing and Paying Agency Agreement and documentation
- Perform daily settlement functions for allotment, income distribution and redemption
- Develop procedure manual and streamline daily workflow and devise process improvement
- Perform data checking and maintenance functions in various banking system
- Reconciliation and accounting entries processing
- Participate in system related projects and perform system user acceptance test
- Participate in MIS reporting and ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Degree holder, preferably in business or related disciplines
- Possess at least 8 years relevant experience in securities settlement and custody operation
- In-depth knowledge of HKMA and SFC Regulations
- Good knowledge in wealth management products
- Solid working experience in operations of Issuing and Paying Agency and custodian service is preferable
- Sound knowledge on operations of Securities Clearing System (CMU, Clear stream/ Euroclear)
- Proficient in PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Detailed-minded with good organization, interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated independent and able to work under pressure
