Job Description

Our client is working in providing Leisure and Cultural Services. They are now looking for new candidates that could support their daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • To provide general clerical support, including records filing, data entry and retrieval of documents;
  • To assist in stocktaking files and organizing file index;
  • To render support in file disposal exercise and preparation work of Electronic Recordkeeping System for the Office;
  • To answer telephone enquiries from the public regarding the services provided by the venue;
  • To man the Reception Counter of the General Registry and direct visitors to appropriate officers;
  • To type, input and collate returns and reports;
  • To assist in the collection of bi-monthly consumables forms and their distribution among teams;
  • To assist in stocktaking and distributing stock, and urgent procurement of stores;
  • To despatch office documents within the office daily and to/ from other offices under urgent circumstances;
  • To provide logistics support to office recruitment exercises when necessary; and
  • To perform other duties as may be assigned by senior officers.

Requirements

  • Have five (5) passes in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), including Chinese and English Language (Syllabus B), or equivalent; OR
  • Have Level 2 or above in five (5) subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language, in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent;
  • Have at least four (4) years’ full-time post-qualification work experience, including at least 6 months of which should be full-time clerical/ administrative experience in a government-run office; (work experience with clerical/secretarial/administrative experiences or in a government-run office is preferred);
  • Mature, pleasant and independent with good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Have good telephone manners; and
  • Be proficient in MS Word and Excel applications.

We offer

  • Contract Period: 9-months
  • Working Location: Hung Hom    
  • Work Hour:  09:00 – 18: 00
  • Salary: $16-17K (depends on experience)
