Job Description
Our client, a reputable bank in HK, is looking for a VP of Compliance & Internal Control to join their HR team
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with related stakeholders to finalize response of HRD for audit review/ compliance checking
- Review and advise on HR policies and procedures in compliance with related regulatory requirements
- Liaise with regulatory bodies on compliance issues related to HR
- Monitor staff’s compliance with internal policies
- Perform staff dealing activities monitoring
- Review and observe staff suspicious transactions and a
- Assist in staff disciplinary issues
- Process and monitor intermediary registration matter
- Participate in ad hoc projects or assignments
Requirements:
- University graduate
- 8 years’ experience related to compliance and licensing, preferably experience in dealing with regulatory bodies/ auditors and staff monitoring
- Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and procedures in banking or financial services industry
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, independent, attention to details and well-organized
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
- Conversant with MS Office applications especially MS Excel
