Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to define, design and deliver various RegTech initiatives
• Participate in ongoing RegTech projects and perform requirement study, solution design, planning, change management and documentations
• Take an active role in the implementation of a database project which involves consolidation and visualization of data related to listed companies from various external and internal sources
• Analyse data related to companies listed on HKEX and prepare analytics reports for useful business insights to assist the daily regulation of listed companies and/or listing policy development by applying statistical techniques and/or using business intelligence tools
• Collaborate and liaise with other IT teams, cross departments and vendors in project implementation

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
• At least 3 years of relevant working experiences in well-established financial institutions
• High proficiency in Excel, VBA, SQL, Power Query, statistical tools and business intelligence tools (such as MS PowerBI or Tableau), preferably gained in finance industry
• Previous experience working in change projects as a business analyst with responsibility for creating business requirements specifications, process mapping, solution design, development of test cases, support for user acceptance testing, and training
• Proficiency in Project Management (Scrum, PMP, Agile) and related tools (such as Jira, Confluence)
• Experience in projects in relation to data analytics, business process re-engineering, RegTech and machine learning is an advantage
• Working knowledge in ETL, data architecture, data management and data mart implementation is an advantage
• Experience in Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Eikon and Capital IQ is an advantage
• Self-motivated with strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can proactively engage with peers and external vendors, take ownership to ensure timely completion of all deliverables
• Well-organized, attentive to details, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
