Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute all inward and outward payments including local and cross border payments.
• Manage to develop payment operation procedures including Remittance, CHATS, FPS inward/outward payments, FPS eDDA and Addressing service maintenance procedures, payment reconciliation procedures
• Manage daily operations, settlement, reconciliation, control tasks are accomplished and attained with high service standards.
• Follow the enterprise policies and procedures to safeguard the first line of defense in compliance, risk and control.
• Manage to streamline the operational workflow and procedure to improve operation efficiency and reduce operational risk
• Ensure payment transactions are compliance with internal and external rules and regulations
• Drive and liaise with internal stakeholders (Products, ALM, Finance, Risk) and external stakeholders (HKICL, HKAB, Swift, other banks) in resolving issues and supporting the payment operations and launch of new products
• Drive automation, digital initiatives, collaboration in transformation and technology programs.
• Collaborate with technology team to support system development, enhancement and implementation to enhance processing capacity, quality and Straight Through Processing (STP)
• Provide user requirement and conduct UAT on system enhancement

Requirements:

• Min. 8 years experience of relevant banking experiences in payment operation, strong knowledge in payment product development and familiarize with FPS, SWIFT, RTGS operation experience.
• Hands-on experience in payment operation with UAT experience
• Project experience in driving system enhancement, workflow reengineering, automation and digitization experience.
• Good knowledge on market practice and regulatory requirement, with FPS new release, GPI, ISO20022 migration experience is a plus
• Detail oriented with strong risk awareness and analytical mind
• Bachelor degree or above in operation management are preferred
