On behalf of clients, we are seeking high calibre candidates for the following:  

Position: Insurance Back Office (Pensions Administration, Life, Medical, General Insurance)

Positions offered would be depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidates.   

RESPONSIBILITIES   

To execute any of the following job functions:    

a).  Supervisor (Pensions Operation) 

  • Assist the Manager in managing team members with respect to standards of accuracy, timeliness and productivity.
  • Ensure smooth running of the assigned accounts, resolve complicated issues and escalate the situations when necessary.
  • Handling customers' enquiries and complaints, providing possible solutions.
  • Staff coaching and support staff development plans
  • Implement procedures, processes and projects for process streamlining of operations and service improvement initiatives.

b).   Officer (Pensions Administration Business Analysis)

  • Study on the current process flows and functionalities of operation related systems
  • Identify or report the system related limitation or defects or area to improve
  • Assist Team Manager on performing the impact analysis on the defects or enhancement items
  • Prepare user requirements to fix the defects or enhancement items
  • Verify or discuss with end users to understand user requirements
  • Discuss or walkthrough with system analysts or IT on the user requirements
  • Prepare test scope, scenarios and test cases
  • Executing testing on the UAT environment
  • Analyzing test results and interacting with IT on the testing results
  • Perform the IVT or health check after the program implementation
  • Handle the ad hoc projects as assigned by Team Manager

c).  Administrators  (Pensions Administration)

  • Perform daily MPF administration functions of employer/member enrolment, contribution, termination and data change within the company under minimum supervision.
  • Manage assigned MPF scheme accounts to comply with the regulatory and service requirements

  • Handle simple enquiries in a timely and professional manner and escalate issues or problems to manager in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with clients on problem cases for the completion of business processes.
  • Assist in ad-hoc tasks if required.

d).   Assistant Officer (Client Management) 
  • Build & strengthen relationship with the existing group VIP clients through regular visits, conducting member briefing and providing review services

  • Provide proactive renewal support to our agents and brokers on the renewal quotation and negotiate the renewal package with agents, brokers and clients 
  • Handle end-to-end renewal process for the assigned cases such as preparing renewal quotation, providing underwriting suggestions and recommendations on benefit design based on the claim data analysis and clients' needs.
  • Partner with all stakeholders to secure renewal of group policies and follow through the subsequent renewal documents with the clients and Group Administration teams, ensure the delivery and quality of renewal service is aligned as agreed with our clients.
  • Provide support to the distribution channels and Sales Team for new business cases
  • Handle general enquiries from intermediaries & clients and act as a bridge between the client and operations team for resolving the administrative or claims issues.

e).   Senior Claims Officer 

  • Handle claims enquiries and deliver claims servicing support to customers and agents
  • Follow up claims cases with agent/ customer/ physician/ hospital
  • Assist in claims adjudication
  • Take part in departmental projects/ ad hoc task provided by the management

f).  Administration Assistant/Officer (General Insurance) 
** positions offered depends on the individual's experience

  • Monitor policies/endorsements/declarations to/from insurers/clients
  • Prepare renewal and quotation slips
  • To assist in ad-hoc duties when required

g).  Officer/Senior Representative/Representative (Pensions/Life Insurance Customer Service Call Centre) - permanent/contract

  • Meet service standards and KPIs according to internal guidelines and rules
  • Conduct various outbound calls with documented protocols
  • Liaise with internal departments, channels and customers on replies to enquiries and required documents
  • Maintain and improve quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommending improved procedures.
  • Provide customers with product and service information
  • Identify and escalate priority issues
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • Participate in customer service-related projects and provide recommendations to improve work processes and service levels of the team.

h).  Officer/Senior Representative/Representative (Pensions, Customer Service Call Centre)

  • Follow up customer enquiries and feedback with good quality standard 
  • Ensure the delivery of service meet with our service standard & comply with regulatory requirements

REQUIREMENTS:    

A.  General Requirements
 

  • Secondary, Associate, HD, Degree in Business Administration or other disciplines
  • Able to work under high pressure with professional business acumen
  • Highly adaptable to changes with a flexible and positive working attitude
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)     

B.  Experience Requirements 

a).  for  Supervisor  (Pensions Operation) requires at least  7 years solid experience in handling MPF administration and in a supervisory role.

b).
  for  Officer (Pensions Administration Business Analysis) requires at
 least 1 year of relevant experience in pensions operation or insurance or bank industry with good in analytics, logical and organizing skills.

c).  for  Administrators  (Pensions Administration) requires 2-3 years pensions administration experience

d).  for  Assistant Officer (Client Management) requires at least 3 years in group medical experience, candidate with underwriting knowledge is preferable

e).  for Senior Claims Officer requires at  least 3 years of life claims experience, customer-service mindset with effective interpersonal and communication skill.

f).  for  Administration Assistant/Officer ((General Insurance) requires at least 2 years of insurance experience preferably in a broking firm.

g).  for Senior Officer/Officer (Life Insurance Customer Service Call Centre)  requires 4 years in client service with good knowledge of insurance industry preferred

h).  for Officer/Senior Representative/Representative (Pensions/Life Insurance Customer Service Call Centre) - Permanent/Contract requires at least 1-year experience in banking and financial industries, customer-focused with positive attitude & communication skills.  Willing to take an examination for MPF/Life insurance.  
**Candidate with more experience will be considered for Senior Client Service Representative or Officer position
