Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Senior Technical analyst with relevant Banking application knowledge for Production support of Local/Global application and analytical skills to work closely vendors on 3rd party provided software and global counterparts.
Functional:
- Act as system administration/application specialist in local application
- Manage IT procedures on local application
- Manage IT vendors on 3rd party local software hosted on cloud technology
- Manage Security standards on responsible application ( e.g. SGATE/AAM/MLX tools)
- Support resolutions for audit findings, vulnerabilities assessment findings and Penetration test findings on responsible application
- Support firewall requests, technical users management on responsible application
- Backup on managing procurement requests (shopping carts) for RUN/Change process for responsible application
- Provide first level support to Global application under a 'follow-the-sun' model to the Asia Global Processing Team (AGPT) during Asia time zone
- Provide first and second level support to local application
- Manage incidents, provide root cause analysis and incident reporting
- Monitor problem fixing with internal and external support teams
- Analyse with internal & external resources on problems for solution
- Perform Quality assurance checks on deliverables by the internal and external teams
- Prepare status updates on incidents and problems handled by the internal & external teams
- Participate and organise any regression testing requested by Global Competence teams on patches or project release
- Participate in the quarterly disaster recovery (DR) testing and annual business continuity (BCP) testing in Asia
- Participate in any BCP & DR testing on any global systems
- Relevant degree\qualification with 5-8 years experience in Production support analyst in Banking environment; knowledge / experience in Accounting, Compliance and Payments area is desirable
- Sound knowledge in Banking software; desirable with knowledge in Compliance Anti Money Laundering & Financial Sanction Tools, Regulatory reporting tool, SWIFT, Middlewares
- Production support/Analytical in Banking environment
- Able to work independently, proactive and strong team player
- Analytical, strong interpersonal communication skill
