Our client is a reputable bank with strong presence in Asia. They are looking for a high calibre individual to join their group as an Assistant Manager/ Senior Officer- AML Operation

Responsibilities

• Conduct transaction monitoring and investigate suspicious transactions/ alerts identified through the AML/CFT systems
• Review and approve assessments on internal disclosures, alerts or hits triggered by transaction monitoring and screening systems, and determine whether it is necessary to make a report to respective law enforcement agencies
• Perform customer due diligence and on-going checking / review (eg. Name Screening and company search)
• Identify possible violations of bank policy or regulation according to documented red flags or variations
• Manage timely and accurate management reporting information for senior management
• Ensure adequate support as user role to the development, implementation, enhancement and validation of AML/CFT-related transaction monitoring and screening systems

Requirements

• Degree holder in Business Administration, Risk Management, Law or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in handling AML name screening and transaction monitoring related activities in Compliance or Operations
• Professional qualification such as AAMLP/ CAMLP, ACAMS, ICA Certificate in Compliance, etc is an advantage
• Detail-oriented and excellent time management skills
• Able to work independently as well as a team player
• Good in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior Officer
