Our client, a highly-regarded asset management company, is seeking a Junior Product Specialist (Asian Equities).

Responsibilities

• Assist a senior product specialist in marketing effort with a focus on Asian equities products, and produce research and marketing materials (including fund updates, RFP and client pitches) 
• Produce and customize marketing materials for existing Asia equities strategies / thematic funds for different client segments 
• Keep abreast on new industry trends (especially on key sectors in Asia, including tech / TMT) and compose market / industry updates on investment outlook 
• Collaborate with sales teams on developing materials to update clients during regular review meetings / conference calls 
• Conduct analysis on fund flows, performance attributions, business profitability and competitive landscape 

Responsibilities

• University graduate with degree in Finance / Economics or relevant discipline
• CFA qualification highly preferred 
• At least three years of relevant experience in investment research / investment advisory. Candidates with prior experience focusing equity research be well-regarded 
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English and Chinese (Mandarin).  Other Asia language skills would be a plus 
• Highly motivated, articulate and with strong market sense
• Team player and able to work in a multi-cultural environment
