Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations, problem solving and development of Investment & Treasury Operations Department
• Responsible for the overall operations and development of the Investment & Treasury Operations Department comprising of 3 units,
  • Treasury Settlement for FX/MM, Fixed Income, Structured Products and Derivatives settlement
  • Investment Product Support for UT settlement & Insurance processing
  • Securities Services Support for share settlement major on HK, TW, US Market and China Connect
• Manage and ensure that all the department activities are performed in accordance with all established policy guidelines and external regulations
• Review and assess the operational risks for ad hoc and new investment and treasury products
• Manage the annual budget preparation, planning and control of the Department
• Design and review procedures periodically for continuous improvement
• Assist or participate in the implementation of settlement/operating systems and other related system projects
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Divisional management
• Perform signing responsibility as per internal and external signing authority guidelines

Requirements:

• University graduate or relevant professional qualification
• At least 10 years’ experience at Managerial in the Treasury/Investment products support functions in lieu of University education
• Well-versed in relevant policies and procedures of the Bank as well as regulatory requirements e.g. the Code of Banking Practice, HKMA, SFC regulations
• Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
• Good experience in treasury, securities or investment system operations, implementation and project control
• Good knowledge of ISDA, CSA and related definitions
