Job Description
Due to the rapid expansion of our consultancy services in Hong Kong, we are now seeking for suitable applicant to fill up the following vacancy in Vigers Building Consultancy Limited:
(1) Building Surveyor
Job Scope:
- Leading a team of assistant surveyors, delivering professional services on refurbishment of commercial building projects, building regulations submissions, buildings inspections;
- Managing service qualities and liaising with external project consultants;
- Building contracts administration and site management.
Qualification and Experience:
- University Degree in Building Surveying or related studies;
- MRICS / MHKIS preferably with minimum 2 years' post qualified experience;
- Able to demonstrate good communication and leadership skills;
- Experienced in Building Regulations and other statutory legislations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, project management and contract administration of building refurbishment;
- Heritage buildings inspections and preparation of survey reports;
- Preparation of statutory submissions to Building Department;
- Undertaking condition surveys and executing defects diagnosis.
Requirements:
- Degree or Associate Degree or Higher Diploma in Building Surveying / Architectural Studies / Building or equivalent;
- Preferably with 1 year working experience in Building Contractor or Building Consultancy firms;
- Familiar with building ordinances;
- Training will be provided to candidates enrolling for HKIS practical task training / examination;
- Mature with good communication and negotiation skills
