Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Engineers / Project Manager on detailed design review of works
- Attend site meetings and keep site records
- Carry out routine site supervision and check Contractor’s construction works
- Check method statements, drawings and method of construction against specification
- Monitor Contractor’s safety, environmental and health performance during construction works
Qualifications and Experiences required:
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering, or equivalent, in an appropriate discipline with Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (MHKIE), or equivalent in an appropriate discipline for the respective roles, plus 3 years relevant post-qualification experience
- Good understanding of design and construction works
- Highly motivated, able to work independently and under pressure, and willing to take on new challenges
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Resident Engineer.
This position will be on a contract basis to work at a development site in North New Territories for 12 months, which may be lengthened or shortened subject to project development. Standard working hours will be 5.5 days per week. Attractive remuneration package with gratuity will be offered to the successful candidates.
