Duties & Responsibilities:  

• Assist in conducting the below activities:
  • to process and check excavation permits and as-built drawings in addition to the general clerical works as instructed by supervisor
  • to apply BIM uses according to relevant technical circulars and to implement new technologies under Construction 2.0 initiatives (e.g. DfMA, MiMEP, video analytics, etc.); or
  • to enhance existing Record Drawings Recording System under the Repository Unit, Drawing Office to a BIM Data Repository for storing as-constructed BIM models and all relevant documents for effective information retrieval by different systems like the Digital Mapping System (DMS); or
  • to build BIM models for service reservoirs from as-constructed records and to generate capacity tables for service reservoirs from BIM Models; or
  • to record and maintain information relating to the inside services records for Large Housing Estate into the Digital Mapping System (DMS); or
  • to verify as-constructed water mains records and to update actual alignments and locations of water mains and facilities/fitting in Digital Mapping System (DMS) with reference to as-constructed water mains records
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

• A Certificate in Civil Engineering from a Hong Kong polytechnic/polytechnic university or the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education/technical college/institute, or equivalent; and Grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent; or Grade D or above in Mathematics and Grade E or above in 4 other subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in PC applications;
• Immediate availability is preferred.
