As this position demands a wide range of responsibilities, you must be committed, self-motivated, very resourceful, and remain long-term focused. This position suits mid-level accounting professionals who want to be exposed to general management functions.

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining full set of financial and statutory accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for the company
• Handling payroll and tax matters
• Dealing with external auditors and tax agents
• Assisting in compliance and regulatory matters of the company and report submission to the SFC
• Daily fund accounting, resolution of discrepancies with transfer agent's and custodian's records, etc.
• Preparation of billing to clients
• Support senior management to ensure smooth day to day operations

Requirements:

• A solid degree in Accounting or Finance related discipline or equivalent professional certification;
• Candidates with 3 to 4 years’ financial accounting experience in SFC licensed corporations, preferably in a small asset management firm. Former auditors who are undaunted by the challenge of a steep learning curve are encouraged to apply.
• Deadline oriented, with good interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Attention to details and good problem solving skills
• Able to multitask and work independently.
