The post holder is required to provide administrative and clerical support, including handling various Student Administration and Admission activities of the Registry.
Applicants should have:
(a) At least 5 subjects at Grade E/Level 2 or above in the HKCEE / HKDSE, including English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language;
(b) A few years of administrative experience; preferably gained at a tertiary educational institution;
(c) Good Computer literacy (such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Chinese word processing etc.).Previous experience in data processing/analysis is an advantage;
(d) Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua;
(e) A proactive work attitude, good communication & interpersonal skills;
(f) The ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
(g) A strong sense of responsibility.
TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a two-year contract with the possibility of renewal, subject to mutual agreement. A gratuity payment equal up to 10% of basic salary earned during the contract period will be payable upon satisfactory completion of contract. Fringe benefits include leave, medical, and dental benefits. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Registry, in collaboration with Schools and various academic and administrative departments, supports the development of academic regulations and policies,
and ensures consistent and fair implementation of policies and regulations relating to study programmes. The Registry provides secretarial support to the Academic Board and its key boards and committees at institutional level. It acts as an expert provider
of fundamental Academy-wide academic services spanning the full study cycle from admission to graduation. It is the Academy’s executive arm in establishing quality assurance and enhancement system and practices and developing quality culture.
The postholder will assist their supervisors to coordinate operations and projects within the Registry and provide administrative support to ensure quality
delivery of the services. While the postholder may be assigned predominantly to one service area within the Registry, there are likely to be opportunities to gain experience across various teams and projects as needs arise. The successful candidate will be
initially posted to the Assessment and Course Registration Team.
