Responsibilities

• Provide secretarial and administrative support to the assigned business team including photocopy, filing, data entry etc.
• Assist the Team Head to coach newly joined RM on how to handle new company account opening and how to perform customer’s account inquiry through different System in the Bank.
• Handle account opening and renewal, prepare the related documentation and related correspondences.
• Accountable for some centralized tasks in particular in Business Banking such as daily clearing cheque verification / focal point on guarantee scheme / monitoring on missing documents follow up after loan draw down or new account opening etc.
• Compile daily transaction report & all necessary reports.
• Handle customer enquiries on account balances, deposit renewals, term loan rollovers etc.
• Report timely any unusual transaction / activity suspicious of money laundering to Compliance Department; and malpractice/ irregularity identified to supervisor. 

Requirements 

• Secondary education or above
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in Retail Banking.
• Self-motivator and customer centric.
• General understanding on SME and retail banking products.
• Basic knowledge in accounting principles, credit and loan document
• Good PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Good interpersonal skills and strong team player
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
