Job Description

Accountabilities:

  • Lead a small team to on process streamlining and HRIS system migration to support HR transformation in line with HR strategy and business goals.
  • Process streamlining / re-engineering: Partner with key process owners to understand current processes throughout the employee life cycle, work with them to identify potential issues, propose process redesign and look for automation opportunities that add value, reduce risk, improve the employee experience in the Bank, manage and execute changes in the processes and systems, document the workflow and procedures and measure the effectiveness of the changes.
  • HRIS system migration: Oversee the full cycle project implementation.  Collect and consolidation user requirements, research, source and negotiate with vendors, analyze and compare capabilities and costs of different systems, propose most suitable systems for the Bank.  Coordinate and lead the system implementation, integration, monitor the progress, data migration, enhancement and upgrade projects.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including but not limited to project plans, business processes, UAT plans and scripts, functional requirements, status reports, project presentation, etc;
  • Conduct user training, develop and update user training materials and documentation
  • Work closely with HRIS users, people process owners, IT Departments and external vendors on troubleshooting, clearing error logs, system administration/maintenance and enhancement of current HR systems.
  • Participate in ad-hoc task/ projects as and when required.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years’ of relevant experience in multinational organizations or financial institutions.
  • Minimum 5 years’ solid hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HRMS and SAP Success Factor on system implementation/design, administration / maintenance and trouble-shooting.
  • Solid experience in transformation and implementation of new HRIS is essential.
  • Experience of business process management/reengineering or management reporting is highly preferred.
  • Good understanding of employment related laws and ordinance.
  • Sound leadership, good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good grasp of data security, database management and data analytics.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
