Responsibilities

• Managing MO team and responsible for daily operational support of Financial Markets sales & trading activities, including client/cpty liaison, a/c opening, master agreements execution, internal approval and trade reporting
• Business Control & Risk monitoring:
  • Implement checks and control process to ensure business’ compliance with regulatory rules, internal policies and risk management guidelines as first line of defense;
  • Supervising post-trade process such as trade verification, position & PnL flash, repo cpty limit monitoring etc;
  • Partner with RMD in rolling out international best practice with an improved risk framework that better support business growth in a controlled manner
• On-going controls and process improvement: Keep KOP (Key Operating Procedure) updated and continue to drive changes that lead to enhanced risk controls, reduced errors, time/cost saving, and better business support & client service
• Business performance tracking and reporting
• FMD business projects (system, new business/product approval and control & process setup) as MO lead

Requirements

• Bachelor degree. SFC Type 1 license holder, FRM, CFA qualification is a plus
• Minimum 10 years of middle office/risk control/product control experience in securities firms or banks with solid FICC, OTC Derivatives, Structured Products knowledge’s.
• Thorough understanding of Financial Markets business's Front-2-Back control and process
• Strong communication/ interpersonal/ presentation skills and ability to lead, change, and execute.
• Team management, Change management, Project management experience preferred
• Fluent in English and Mandarin speaking/listening/writing;
• Good command of Microsoft Office tools is a plus.
