Job Description
Taikoo Shing; Mon-Fri; Trade Credit; Japanese Speaking Senior Business Development Manager
LANGUAGE REQUIRED
Native or bilingual proficiency in Japanese, Fluent in English
JOB DUTIES
- Represent and promote the company’s trade credit insurance business and generate business opportunities into growth and profitability.
- Manage, develop and maximize the assigned portfolios.
- Develop and execute the company’s distribution strategy in line with your individual and assigned team sales targets for Hong Kong and Taiwan.
- Maintain and nurture healthy business relationships with insurance brokers, sales agents as well as clients.
- Interact regularly with other core functions (i.e. Risk, Claims, Policy Administration) and key colleagues on a Business Unit level.
- Apply commercial underwriting standards to ensure profitability and quality of the customer portfolio, ensuring proper pricing and compliance with the “Know Your Customer” regulations.
- Respond to any reporting requirements promptly and efficiently.
- Display the company People Attributes (Trust, Entrepreneurship, Customer and Market Excellence and Collaborative Leadership).
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Understand trade insurance from competitor or brokers
- Working experience in Japanese banks/companies already to approach clients would be a plus
- Ideal to be native Japanese speaker, HK based
