Job Description
- Assist the Design Manager on all aspects of geotechnical engineering design works including piling foundation, ELS, slope stability, ground treatment etc;
- Provide technical inputs for geotechnical design and consulting assignments;
- Coordinate between construction team, clients, government agencies, design institutes, and other stakeholders to facilitate project implementation;
- Assist in technical proposal preparation, prepare design documents and assessment report;
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant design experience in geotechnical engineering or relevant sector(s)
- Candidates with previous experiences in working as design geotechnical engineer on foundation and excavation and lateral support works will be an advantage;
- Familiar with latest design standards/codes and government submission procedures;
- Knowledge of the geotechnical software especially PLAXIS, Slope-W and preferably structural software SAP2000 as well.
- Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to meet various deadlines to complete tasks and project works assigned
- Self-motivated with high personal drive for achievements and success
- Good command of both written and spoken English while Chinese language skills are preferred
- Candidates with professional qualification(s) are preferred
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Design Engineer.
