We are looking for high caliber professional to join Financial Control (Hong Kong) Department of CLP Power Hong Kong Limited. The successful applicant will be responsible for the following duties.

• Assist to formulate and realize the business strategies and goals in meeting operational and financial targets and business objectives
• Timely compile the operating / capital expenditure budgets and ensure that they are financially justified for management approval, and are subsequently monitored effectively with forecast updated periodically
• Produce management & financial information with both quantitative and qualitative assessments for monitoring achievement of business goals and targets and for management's decision support
• Ensure effective management control procedures in compliance with Company Policy are in place
• Deliver professional financial advice and support to internal customers in relation to financial or control related matters
• Identify and participate in the continuous improvement of procedures and systems to improve operational efficiency and participate in other ad hoc assignments to cope with business needs

Requirements:

• An accredited University Degree in Accounting and Finance; and professional qualification of a recognised accountancy body; 
• At least 5 years’ relevant working experience; Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Financial Analyst;
• Proven interpersonal skills and capability to communicate effectively at all levels in both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong analytical mind and problem solving abilities with good business acumen;
• Creative, independent, self-motivated and a strong sense of responsibility; and
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint; and
• Familiar with SAP/Oracle would be highly desirable.
