Major Responsibilities

• Full spectrum and all-round financial management duties (for example but not limited to month-end closing, accounts reconciliation, cashflow forecast, journal entries posting, accounts receivables and payables management, revenue recognition)
• Full involvement in a newly developed Robotics segment Business Unit of the Group, substantial involvement in other Business Units (e.g. Brand Distribution) and other ad doc projects
• Coordinate the review on month-end closing of financial statement and liaise with auditors for annual audit and accurate accounting treatment for several Business Units
• Work closely with and advise other departments on finance-related matters, and to support the continuous improvement of workflow and procedures.

Requirements

• Degree holder or above in related disciplines with professional qualifications
• Strong accounting technical background especially in revenue recognition HKFRS15 (e.g. project-based revenue recognition related knowledge)
• Willing to roll up one sleeve’s to be hands on with at least 3 to 5 years’ experience on full spectrum financial management duties (for example but not limited to month-end closing, accounts reconciliation, journal entries posting, accounts receivables and payables management)
• 5 to 10 years’ experience in finance and accounting. Previous audit experience in sizable international firm will be an advantage.
• Willing to expose to different accounting and finance functions e.g. treasury and cashflow management, banking, payables, reporting etc.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred
• Hands-on experience in major accounting software is preferred
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, working independently & well-organized
• Be proactive and able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders especially with business management teams
• Strong analytical, data mining and problem solving skills. Familiar with Excel and sensitive with number and formulas
• Excellent in communication and presentation, with good fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Applicants with more experience would be considered as Assistant Manager
