Our client is a well-known fashion retail with strong presence in Asia Pacific, Mid-East, Europe and U.S., they are seeking for a buyer as part of their team in Hong Kong. This position will report directly to the Merchandising Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Forecast order quantity for the assigned category
• Undertake tactical actions to hit KPIs which include sales target, sell through and achieve optimal inventory level closing stocks
• Support execution of pre-season and in-season activities include launch planning, allocation plan, pricing for new season & range planning, repeat orders, markdowns and consolidation
• Build and maintain relationships within the team and franchise partners
• Understand country/ partner level nuances and competitive landscape to optimize business performance
• Perform any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities assigned

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Finance, Accountancy, Business, Retail Management or related discipline  
• Minimum 1-year related working experience in Purchase/Supply Chain field
• Strong passion for fashion and latest trends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP & Qlikview will be an advantage
• Keen eye for details with an aptitude for numbers
• Strong presentation skills with good command in English and Chinese
• Good time management skills and the ability in managing multiple priorities
• Team Player with positive learning attitude
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
