Job Summary

This position is accountable to procure and digitize all Platform/ Seasonal fabrics for selected Brands. The role requires a good understanding of fabric properties and construction and how to accurately convert these properties into textural and physical digital assets.   

Essential Functions

• Create and maintain the fabric library for textural and physical properties.
• Digitize Knit and Woven Seasonal fabric qualities according to the Brand calendar deliverables on a seasonal basis using Vizoo and 3D software.   
• Support Drapr team to digitize all adopted print and yarn dye fabrics according to seasonal adoption calendar.
• Provide data to measure KPI’s for Vendor Score Cards quarterly to stakeholders, Brand/ GIS stakeholders.  
• Test new fabric digitizing innovation relevant to current and potential future projects.
• Ensure digitizer and analyzer equipment is calibrated regular for accuracy in the digitizing process.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple Brands in a high-volume setting responsive to strict deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and follow through with mills and Brand stakeholders
• Ability to analyze the accuracy of digitized fabrics and adjust as necessary to create digital twins.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, both within a project and in developing relationships and collaborations with cross functional partners.
• A flexible approach to experimenting, testing, and developing a scalable process.
• Understanding of the technical specifications for fabrics as well as a comprehension of the 3D digital design process.  
• Demonstrate a professional, courteous, and positive attitude always including when working under pressure.

Preferred Education / Working Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Textile Science
• 1- 2 years of relevant experience working in a sourcing office in fabric/ product development or other relevant textile experience
• 1- 2 years working in 3D or photorealism software
• High Proficiency in computer software
