Responsibilities

Leadership

• Work with the Education Manager to plan, budget, and lead on the execution of Education projects and programs.
• Supervise and train junior colleagues, volunteers, and internal teams to main high standard of education materials and activities.
• Outreach to external stakeholders, such as schools and communities, to expand our educational services, including assessing their education needs, developing curriculum to align with their objectives, and soliciting feedback on their experience to improve our offerings.    

Operations

• Develop and review content of educational materials and activities.
• Oversee the daily administrative duties for the educational talks and upkeep of the SPCA educational facilities.
• Prepare income and outcome reports for educational activities.
• Manage and develop professional external communications.
• Compile and research on issues to support growth of educational initiatives.
• Work with various teams under Marketing & Communications Department on SPCA’s events.

Requirements:

• 5 years of relevant experience.
• Supervisory experience, especially in event or campaign management, is an asset.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent reporting-writing and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate persuasively.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive with positive and hands-on attitude, and able to meet timelines.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Cantonese; Putonghua skills will beneficial.
• Driving license of Class 1 & 2 would be an advantage.
