Responsibility:

• R&D, design, develop and implement innovative IoT cloud-based green solutions using protocols e.g. 5G, WiFi, LoRa, Sigfox, NB-IoT, Bluetooth, etc.
• Conduct electronic component sourcing & hardware performance evaluation. Establish a network of suppliers and service vendors, e.g. components suppliers.
• Responsible for proof-of-concept, prototyping and demonstration on IoT, system integration and mass production.
• Prepare schematic drawing, review PCB layout, perform engineering and design verification test, prepare test plans and specifications.
• Create electronic designs and specifications for factory handover using CAD and other software. Support FMEA activities.
• Review and analyse the BOM cost.
• Work with software team for back-end and front-end development e.g. dashboard, mobile apps, etc.
• Assist in submitting tender and/or proposal of IoT green solutions to government and commercial clients.
• Ensuring conformity to product requirement specifications and safety regulations.

Requirement:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electronic / Electrical / Telecommunication / Computer Engineering, IT or other relevant disciplines.

• 5 years of above IoT Engineer / Technician experience in wireless and cloud-based IoT product development.
• Creative and pragmatic at the same time. Bold to create innovative ideas, commercialize them and develop right products/solutions to solve the pain points.
• Solid experience in electronic and wireless hardware system design and development. Familiar with popular IoT-related communication protocols e.g. 5G, WiFi, LoRa, Sigfox, NB-IoT, Bluetooth.
• Strong technical competency and knowledge in PCB layout, circuit design, MCU programming, and IoT related systems and protocols.
• Experience of sourcing and dealing with factories and electronics suppliers in China.
• Proficient in engineering software, such as AUTOCAD and Solidworks etc.
• Good command in spoken and written of English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Candidate will less experience & qualification will also be considered as IoT Senior / Technician.
