We are looking for an Assistant Service Engineer to join our Medical Systems Division (HKM) - Service Department in our Hong Kong Office.

Responsibilities:

• In-house repair defective endoscopes and other medical devices following approved repair processes and procedures
• Install, troubleshoot and support medical equipment
• Carry out stages of repair process within required time limits
• Assist in inspecting incoming and outgoing medical equipment before and after repair service to ensure equipment condition
• Improve the quality of repair to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce repair returns due to quality issues
• Support the increasing demand on workshop repair and field service activities
• Support administrative duties relating to the repair process
• Support and maintain computer-based service management and administration systems to record repairs
• Providing supports when ad hoc duties and projects assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in medical device, diagnostics, life sciences or biotech sector
• Experience and knowledge in in medical device industry such as IEC60601 will be an advantage
• Driven for quality with ability to improve repair lead time and strengthen field service activities
• Ability to work with large pieces of equipment
• Self-initiated, meticulous and independent character with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Word
• Good command of written and spoken English
