Major responsibilities/duties


  • Senior level business consulting
    • Work with the regional leadership team to drive progress, set governance and measure results against the global DE&I tracker. Ability to turn a vision into reality through an actionable plan and strategy, being mindful to set clear objectives and measurable outcomes
    • Own end to end delivery of regional wide programmes and campaigns for DE&I priorities
    • Represent the FSO APAC in the Asia-Pacific and global DE&I forums
    • Provide hands-on support to the regional DE&I partner sponsor, DE&I Market Segment champions and Service Line champions committee in delivering on their strategies and by bringing new ideas support with data and market insights
  • Develop people culture to drive engagement and winning in the market
    • Contribute to and help shape DE&I messaging and communications (working with BMC) throughout the Region to highlight how leveraging the broad diversity of our people contributes to highest performance teaming, exceptional client service, and winning in the market. Support external communications, branding and thought leadership to promote EY’s brand as a DE&I leader
    • Drive market-facing activities such as collaborating with global client serving partners and business development to leverage DE&I to strengthen relationships with clients, or speaking at and attending local DE&I conferences e.g. OUT Leadership Sponsorship
    • Promote and support formal employee resource networks (E.g Women’s networks and male allies, Unity and other local office networks) to ensure activities contribute to the Region DE&I strategies and goals.
    • Build and maintain an external network of DE&I professionals in the financial services industry
  • Talent management and development
    • Collaborate with the Region Talent team and key functions to embed an inclusive lens in processes, operations, surveys and decisions. Partner with the Talent Development team to execute DE&I programs
    • Support the development of DE&I knowledge and best practice across the FSO Talent team
    • Connect with Area DE&I Leader to ensure local programs and actions are aligned with the DE&I Roadmap and relevant priorities determined at an Area level. Leverage and share best practice and foster a collaborative working environment with the firm-wide DE&I teams across Asia-Pacific and globally
    • Use data to provide insights to support decision making and recommendations
    • Manage budgets for programmes within DE&I scope, process invoices, SCORE and BRET approvals


Experience and skills


  • Previous experience of working on DE&I projects and a passion to drive progress in DE&I
  • Experience working in a cross border large and matrixed environment
  • Ability to develop strategy and goals for the business and build a deployment plan
  • A strong executive presence and confidence in speaking at a leadership board meeting
  • Experience in business partnering and managing organisational wide changes
  • Self-motivated to drive progress of projects and tasks
  • Influencing skills and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Build working relationships across the business hierarchy and cultures
