Job Description

Our client is an industry-leading safety & quality management specialist that provides insightful regulatory knowledge and technical expertise to ensure their customers meet their compliance goals via inspection, testing, auditing, certification, technical assistance and training. 

With an international network of laboratories that delivers an extensive range of testing services for a variety of consumer goods (toys, kitchenware, cookware, furniture, electrical appliance, home improvement items, textile, apparel, gifts & premiums etc just to name a few), their goal is to deliver a long-term and innovative vision for safety and quality management for their customers.

Their specialized product departments together with the technical divisions supply testing solutions help importers, brands and retailers comply with the relevant standards and regulations in the country in which their products will be sold. Beyond regulatory compliance, their experts aim to accomplish performance ambitions for user safety and satisfaction. Around 100,000 reports have been issued and more than 20,000 toys tested since the creation of the laboratories. At least 25,000 materials are analyzed in their chemical laboratories each year.

To support, lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources with a global coverage of (HK, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, France and soon Turkey) of around 250-300 global headcounts.  This is a standalone HRBP/HRM role but with support from other HR Managers across the group and its affiliates. 

Responsible for all staff related issues (except payroll),  overseeing on/off boarding, performance review management, C&B, talent development, L&D and partnering with local agencies to fulfill recruitment needs.

Requirements 

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience
  • Experience of working in a global role is a plus but not essential.
  • Experience in sizable MNC
  • Well-versed in Employment Law of Hong Kong and China. Other regions such as Europe, USA, Australia is a plus
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English & Mandarin
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, responsible, well-organized and willing to learn.
  • Attention to detail and good organizing, coordination and planning skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office
