Job Summary

Our client is a well-known international banking group and is looking for a Vice President, Head of Loans Operations to join their Syndicated Loan Team.

Responsibilities

-        Manage the processing flow, risks and exercise required control to ensure customer’s instructions, loan agreement terms and conditions, bank’s established rules, procedures as well as banking practices are all properly complied

-        Ensure all regulatory and financial reporting is completed on time and accurately

-        Lead and manage Loans Operations Group to deliver customers high standard of efficient, accurate, cost-effective and professional services in relation to the lending business of the bank and to ensure all loan transaction activities are processed in due compliance with agreement terms and conditions

-        Establish and maintain committed service level and value for various products and ensure all are met with. Same should be regularly reviewed and enhanced whenever possible to make it competitive

-        Formulate procedures, exercise workflow arrangement, resources allocation, actively provide input and participate in system development and implementation project for enhancing processing capability and quality

-        Perform an advisory function as a product specialist in loan product development, organize and conduct loan operations trainings to front lines. Keep tracking trend of product development and use, changing market and industry practice

-        Support product and business development. Perform special projects or carries out required business tasks as directed by management

Requirements

- University Degree holder with good academic qualifications

- Over 15 years of experience in loan operations and administrations with at least 5 years at managerial level

- Sound knowledge in loan-related products, including syndication, corporate and project financing and the market practice

- High caliber, innovative and analytical

- High decision-making ability and solution driver

- Excellent communication and people management skills
