• Manage the VMI finance team and all transactions, financing and system issues that arise from VMI programs; 
• Grow the VMI finance team as appropriate to manage the volume of business incurred by Smith; 
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with VMI financiers, including keeping them apprised of financing opportunities and insuring Smith always has sufficient liquidity to finance VMI programs AND core business; 
• Ensure Smith is always compliant with any financial reporting requirements to either financiers or customers and compliant with any financial covenants with respect to VMI programs; 
• Ensure Smith can always track each VMI program and the applicable take or pay period for all products;  
• Support traders, helping them understand what is acceptable pricing in current market conditions and work with those traders who have inventory approaching the end of their take or pay life;  
• Manage the interest rate risk of existing programs; 
• Manage Smith’s factoring programs, following up when factoring platforms are not working and working with traders to implement new factoring arrangements where appropriate; 
• Consider limitations and constraints of existing ERP/IT set up and make recommendations to improve the process for operational and reporting efficiency; and 
• Forecast global cash receipts on a weekly basis/ report against accuracy of previous forecasts.  

• A Master’s degree in Finance/Economics/any related discipline
• With at least 3 years of experience as a credit or financial analysis
• Knowledgeable in using the Glovia ERP system and IBM Cognos
• Proficiency in MS Office specifically in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
