THE JOB

• To process payments, prepare payment vouchers and dispatch cheques to ensure that all transactions are in compliance with the prevailing financial policies and procedures;
• To issue debit notes for billing requests from user departments;
• To maintain detailed prepayment, accrual, creditors accounts, debtors accounts and prepare related month-end journals;
• To prepare for month-end journals for cost reallocation by user departments;
• To maintain bank balances control and raise bank journal input for the months;
• To assist in preparing for regular and month-end analyses and status reports to Management;
• To maintain proper filing of accounting records;
• To perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by supervisor.

THE REQUIREMENT

• (1) a minimum of 5 passes in HKCEE or 5 HKDSE subjects with at least Level 2 or equivalent, including English, Chinese and Mathematics; or (2) any post secondary qualification;
• Holder of LCC Intermediate or Higher Accounting Certificate is preferable;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese;
• Versatile in excel worksheet manipulation and Chinese Word Processing;
• Knowledge in FLEX Account System and FIONA is an advantage
