Job Description

Scope of Duties: 

  • Revamp the whole C&B structure to meet longer term development of HR strategies and its business growth
  • Evaluate and modify existing compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and implement new compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedure
  • Ensure that employment terms and conditions comply to the Hong Kong Labour Ordinance
  • Work closely with HR Director to develop, update and administer the HR policies and procedures as well as the employee handbook
  • Administer employee benefits programs such as retirement plan, medical and MPF schemes, etc.
  • Analyze salary and grade levels to provide salary benchmark in recruitment, staff promotion, annual staff increment and manpower budget
  • Execute annual performance appraisal programs in coordination with departmental needs and requirements
  • Formulate and regulate HR documents such as disciplinary rules and procedures, etc.
  • Participate in the unions’ meetings
  • Conduct research on employee satisfaction such as using surveys, quantitative data, etc.
  • Manage grievances and disciplines of employees by giving proper guidance and advice to the management
  • Manage and coach staff, develop capability through setting and reviewing staff’s performance target
  • Supervise the team to maintain and update employees’ records
  • Provide input on continuous processes improvement
  • Ensure the best practice on HR workflows are followed
  • Lead and deliver special projects and participate in ad hoc committees and cross functional teams

Requirements: 

  • At least 7 years of HR generalist or compensation & benefits experience in a sizable organization with experience managing a team
  • Degree in HR Management, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Experience working in companies that have both frontline and back office staff in large organizations
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Hong Kong Labour Ordinance, MPF schemes, retirement plan, medical schemes, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience in building compensation packages for various departments and levels
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail and strong follow-through on deliverables
  • A team player with strong organizational and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good command in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in Cantonese and English
