Responsibilities

• Responsible for all financial and accounting functions including accounts receivable and payable management, periodical management accounts and financial reporting
• Supervise accounting staff to prepare monthly management accounts and submit the reports on schedule
• Ensure all statutory required tax and accounting reports and filings are prepared and submitted timely and accurately
• Provide support on annual budget, periodical forecast, cash flow projection in accordance with management assumptions and commercial data
• Maintain policies and procedures in line with the Group policies and procedures for internal control
• Assist in tax planning and treasury functions
• Liaise and coordinate with external auditors on annual statutory audit and issuance of annual audited financial statements within the timeline of both internal and local government requirements
• Follow up the renewal of the Company insurance policies and claims with the insurance company
• Work with the Company Secretary for the statutory requirements and compliance.
• Handle ad hoc assignments if required.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or any other related disciplines
• Chartered Public Accountant
• Minimum 10 years’ working experience with 5 years in similar position and 5 years of audit experience
• Experience in retail industry is an advantage
• Strong analytical mind and good time management skill
• Strong ability to set articulate goals with a drive to achieve them
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and interactive management style
• Ability to earn trust and respect at all levels across the Company through high personal and ethical standards
• Strong computer skills in excel and experience in JD Edwards/AS400 is highly preferred
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
