 Role Purpose:

As Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Associate – Internal Audit , you will be working closely with the business, providing control related advice and assurance to group and the management on key strategic decisions, new business processes and process improvement. We are looking for candidates with strong passion in developing their career in internal audit. We also welcome candidates who are currently working in external audit firms without any commercial experience. 

A typical day in this Role: 

• Ensure strict compliance of Group and internal policy within the business unit.
• Perform operational reviews and report on status of controls (adequacy, efficiency and compliance thereof) within the business units.
• Perform independent testing to verify self-assessment results reported by line management.
• Create, refine and continuous review of internal policy and approval process to tighten the controls around high-risk areas.
• Development of operational reports to detect policy abuse.
• Coordinate audits held by Group Auditors and documents findings and action plans on the audit reports.

Success will depend on:

• Having Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting related disciplines, with professional accountant qualification with external audit experiences preferably from Big 4
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience, candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
• Passionate, detail oriented with a great sense of team spirit
• Excellent communication and presentation technique
• Excellent command of English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
