Under general supervision, runs payroll cycles, balances and reconciles payroll results and verifies the accuracy and completeness of payroll data for the APAC & MEA region.

• Inputs data into the payroll system as needed. Verifies accuracy of manual data entry through balancing & spot checks.
• Runs payroll cycles according to payroll schedule. Resolves out-of-balance issues by researching items entered and finding errors or inconsistencies.
• Ensures on time payment of payroll/benefit related authorities/vendors
• Assists in systems testing when upgrades occur and during the transition from one tax year to the next
• Performs testing, setup and maintenance for new earning & deduction codes and imports.
• Keeps up to date with systems upgrades and new functionality via on demad webinars and other training media. Ensure the team are similarly aware. 
• Reads and follows the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Performs other duties as required.

What makes you a great fit：

• University Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline plus five years directly related experience.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately balance payroll items.
• Working knowledge of payroll practices and procedures.
• Working knowledge of Payroll/HRIS systems including report writing.
• Working knowledge of accounting practices.
• Expert knowledge of income tax and social security legislation.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin is preferred.
