We are looking for a Temporary Accountant to join the Accounting Department in the LVMH Group in Hong Kong.

Role & Responsibilities:
Daily Operations

• Process vendor invoice via electronic platform, perform vendor invoice checking and verification for proper documentation
• Handle staff expense claim in the T&E system, ensure expense report is in compliance with Company Travel Policy, and all expenses are with correct expense categories for posting to the accounting system
• Maintain customer and vendor master data in SAP, obtain all required documents for the creation process, and ensure all customer and vendor accounts are created in compliance with Company Policy and Procedures
• Prepare payment according to the payment schedule, monitor payment status, and follow up on pending invoices
• Prepare monthly intercompany billings to LVMH Brands
• Monitor intercompany balance and follow up with LVMH Brands to ensure settlement of the outstanding balance
• Handle enquiry from staff regarding vendor payment and expense report, and LVMH Brands regarding billing issues
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required

• Handle full scope of accounts payable, ensure all expenses had been captured for month-end closing, and follow up month-end accrual process
• Handle intercompany reconciliation and email confirmation with LVMH Brands
• Prepare monthly P&L schedule and other relevant schedules for analysis

• Degree holder in Accounting or related discipline with a qualification in a professional accounting body
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, financial and accounting experience is preferred
• Good communication skills, positive work attitude, and able to work with tight deadlines during month-end closing
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese, and Mandarin
• Proficient in PC skills, particularly in MS Excel and Word
• Hands-on experience in SAP is preferred
