RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the overall financial functions including day-to-day financial management, financial reporting, cash flow management and operating procedures.
• Support the month end closing and reporting
• Responsible for regional consolidation reporting and reconciliation with Country Finance
• Review and develop effective accounting policies and internal control system to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Liaise with external parties including bankers and auditors
• Identify and improve workflow and processes to increase efficiency and strengthen the framework
• Act as a key consulting role on Finance system implementation / upgrade project
• Manage Company secretary matters
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Accountant with Degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
• At least 8 years of accounting and finance experience with preferably sizable companies
• Strong financial and management reporting experience is a must
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal & communication skills with ability and confidence to work with all levels
• Independent, attentive to details, organized, proactive and eager to learn.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong accounts receivable and cashflow management
• Experience on system implementation and subsequent upgrades
• Previous experience on building a team would be an advantage
