(Senior) Accounting Officer – G/L and Reporting

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting duties, including but not limited to general ledger entries, maintenance of fixed asset register and reconciliation of balance sheet items
• Prepare accounting schedules and various financial reports
• Assist in month-end closing, quarterly financial review and yearly budget
• Liaise with auditors and Head Office, follow up and clear their queries
• Handle government census and company secretarial issues
• Handle ad-hoc issues as requested

(Senior) Accounting Officer – AR

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting entries in relation to accounts receivable and credit note issuance
• Handle debt collection activities, including issuance of monthly accounts statements, recording settlement, reconciling sales and receipts, handling claims and dispute invoices
• Prepare various weekly and monthly reports, including aging analysis, customer analysis and other financial analysis for management review
• Liaise with both internal and external parties for invoices and customers-related issues.
• Assist in customer credit assessment and closely monitor accounts receivable to minimize potential bad debts
• Perform ad-hoc assignment as required

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of working experience in audit and / or accounting;
• Higher diploma or above in Accounting, University graduate is highly preferred;
• Good command in both written and spoken English and Mandarin;
• High proficient in Excel, knowledge of VBA is a definite advantage
• Independent, detailed, organized, proactive with strong problem-solving skills
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for a Senior position
