Responsibilities:      

• Monitor the preparation of timely monthly consolidated reports with detailed variance analysis to management and PRC head office;
• Cooperate with various department heads to conduct annual budget (by business segments and departments) in various scenarios with certain pre-determined KPIs and update rolling forecasts;
• Review monthly FRR return to SFC, answer SFC queries and monitor the daily liquid capital of license corporations;
• Monitor daily clients' money segregations in accordance of SFC (Client Money) Rules;
• Oversee the daily operation including expense payment, journal vouchers, clients' cheques & T/T payment and GL schedules performed by subordinates;
• Ensure tax efficiency of the group by formulating and implementing various tax planning strategies; review profits tax computation from tax representative and subordinates;
• Conduct various analysis including peers comparison, investment project evaluation (ie using discounted cash flow), analytical review on key cost items and breakeven analysis;
• Liaise with auditors for interim review & annual audit; draft results announcements and published reports in Chinese & English version;
• Revise and improve internal control procedures to smoothen the departmental daily operation.

Requirements:

• Degree holder or above, preferably major in Accounting and/ or Finance with professional qualifications;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience with financial institutions ;
• Experience in Chinese Financial Firms preferred ;
• Strong writing abilities, with experience in writing financial reports, analytical and problem-solving skills ;
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills ;
• Self-motivated, proactive, able to perform under pressure and work independently;
• Immediately available is advantage.
